About Us
4 North is a 32 bed telemetry unit at the University of Utah Hospital. The focus in patient care are in the areas of:
- cardiovascular diseases
- post cardio-thoracic surgeries
- LVAD implants
and not excluding other areas of medical surgical nursing.
The increasing numbers of heart and lung transplants and LVAD implants have demanded a need for highly skilled and specialize nursing care at 4 North. Our patients on 4 North are our fist priority and we strive to continue the tradition of excellence in patient care. We uphold the values of:
