Robert E. Marc, Ph.D.
Professor
Research Interest: Structural Neurochemistry
Dr. Marc is investigating the pathways involved in retinal processing, focusing on the connections between cells and how information is transferred from cell to cell using neurotransmitters (the chemical signals used by neurons). A variety of methods are involved in his studies, including light and electron microscopy, pattern classification methods, immunohistochemistry, autoradiography, Golgi impregnation and metabolic mapping.
