City Weekly chooses U.S. Highway 89 as Best Non-Fiction Book of 2010

US Highway 89Ann Torrence, wife of Moran's Dr. Robert Marc, is the author of "U.S. Highway 89," which was recently honored by City Weekly as the Best Non-Fiction Book of 2010.

"U.S. Highway 89: the Scenic Route to Seven National Parks," displays breathtaking photography as it takes you on an expedition through some of the most scenic and historical landmarks in the American West. The book successfully captures the culture of the people throughout the region that runs from Arizona to Montana and shows the impact that urbanization has had on some of the last unspoiled countryside left in America.

Ann is an alumna of Stanford University and currently teaches photography for the University of Utah's Department for Continuing Education. Earlier this year she did a presentation and book signing at King's English. Ann, along with Moran's own Bryan Jones, also helped found Photowalking Utah.

We look forward to seeing what else Ann has up her sleeve and wish her further success in her future endeavors.

Congratulations on the honor!
