I was book browsing in Barnes & Noble about 10 years ago. The book intrigued me after I read the synopsis on the book cover so I bought it.
Why is this book special to you and why do you recommend it?
The writer effortlessly moves the reader from present to past and weaves a delicate spider web that draws the reader into the dual worlds of the characters. Using lush imagery, rich detail and texture, you find yourself caught up in the storytelling and I couldn't put the book down until I finished it.
Additional Comments:
I loved how the author brought the past to life and yet kept the present story just as interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a compelling and gripping story and who can appreciate the crafting of a great writer.
