Moran Doctor Combines Love of Climbing
with Eye Health, Fresh Look on Life, KUTV 2News
At one point, Dr. Geoffrey Tabin dropped out of medical school to pursue his love of mountaineering, becoming the fourth person to summit the highest peaks on all seven continents. Now, Dr. Tabin combines that love of climbing with medicine, bringing sight to thousands of people who live in high-altitude villages, where blindness has previously been accepted as a way of life.
