Research Interest:  Functional connectivity of visual cortex neurons

Dr. Lund is an internationally recognized neuroscientist whose research focuses on the connectivity and function of the visual cortex.  Her goal is to integrate the study of the anatomical connections leading to and within the visual cortex with cortical physiology.  A graduate of University College, London University, Dr. Lund has served on the faculties of the University of Washington, Medical University of South Carolina, University of Pittsburgh, University of London and Cambridge University.  She is a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and sits on the Scientific Advisory Board for England’s Medical Research Council.
