Moran Eye Center Receives Surgical Microscopy Award

Each year the Surgical Microscopy Division of Leica Microsystems chooses six surgeons or facilities which they feel represent the very finest in the field of microsurgery, including ophthalmology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and plastic/reconstructive surgery.

We are happy to announce that The Moran Eye Center has been chosen to receive the award this year. In a letter to Dr. Randall J Olson, CEO Moran Eye Center and Chair of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, Leica said the following: "The Moran Eye Center has been chosen this year for its exceptional contribution to the field of ophthalmology. Please accept our deepest gratitude for the contributions both you and the Moran Eye Center have made."
