DR. JONES RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS GOVERNOR'S MEDAL FOR SCIENCE &TECHNOLOGY

Moran Executive Director of Research, Greg Jones, Ph.D., was recently honored by Governor Huntsman and The State of Utah with the prestigious Governor's Medal for Science and Technology. Only eight people in the entire state were honored with this medal in 2007, which is given to those individuals who have provided distinguished service to the State of Utah in the fields of science and technology. Greg won in the government category. Before joining the Moran Eye Center, Dr. Jones was the State Science Advisor to Utah Governor John M. Huntsman. Dr. Jones managed the state's economic clusters for job creation. Congratulations Greg on this important award.
