Dr. Ruit awarded Readers Digest Asian of the Year

Less than five months after he received the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award - touted as Asia's version of the Nobel Prize, University of Utah, Division of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences Adjunct Faculty Member Dr. Sanduk Ruit was awarded Readers Digest Asian of the Year.

Dr. Ruit is the Co-director of the Himalayan Cataract Project together with John A. Moran Eye Center surgeon Dr. Geoffrey Tabin.
