Moran Eye Center physician-scientist only second ophthalmologist to be elected to century old organization.

Senator Orin Hatch sponsored the Senior Conference at the Little America Hotel on Tuesday, April 18, 2006. Moran Eye Center technicians and staff were on hand to provide glaucoma screening.

Co-founders of Tilganga Eye Center in Nepal recieve award in New York

Randall J. Olson, the John A. Moran, Director of the John A. Moran Eye Center and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, recently received the Fifth Sir Harold Ridley Distinguished Visiting Professorship for Creativity and Innovation in Ophthalmology.

EVENTS

2006 Symposium, "Retinal Degeneration, Understanding the Causes and Finding the Cures," to be held July 31-August 3 in the New Moran Eye Center.

Grand opening of New Moran Eye Center to be held August 3, 2006. Surgical space to increase by 40 percent. Research space will more than triple in size bringing all of the center's research groups together.
