Reis-Buckler's Dystrophy

This entity is an autosomal dominant anterior corneal dystrophy which is characterized by multiple small discrete opacities seen centrally just under the epithelium which may have a honeycomb pattern(#21943).  Histologically, this entity is characterized by scarring and thickening of collagen in the area of Bowman's membrane with loss of epithelial adhesions(#21945).
