Up

Clinically, these lesions appear as elevated skin lesions or tags which have an irregular or papillomatous surface (#21837).  Histopathologically, these lesions are characterized by a thickened or acanthotic epithelium which often shows hyperkeratosis on the surface (#21840).  The epithelium will show multiple finger-like projections with the center of each projection containing a core of fibrovascular tissue (#21838).
