Jean Tabin, M.D.
Jean Tabin, M.D. is director of the John A. Moran Triage Clinic. She is a board certified ophthalmologist and offers comprehensive eye exams that incorporate the full spectrum of eye conditions and problems. Dr Tabin completed a research fellowship with Dr. Stanley Chang at New York Hospital Cornell medical school. Many conditions that Dr. Tabin and other ophthalmologists see in the Moran Triage Clinic can be treated during the initial visit. In addition, if needed, Dr. Tabin may refer you to your personal ophthalmology after initial evaluation and treatment. She can also refer you to the Moran Eye Center’s full range of vision specialists including retina, cornea, glaucoma, oculoplastics, neuro-ophthalmology and more.

The Moran Eye Center provides immediate response to ophthalmic emergencies and urgent vision care needs through our Triage Service on the fourth floor of the Moran Eye Center on the University of Utah campus. We offer complete assessment and treatment of many different types of urgent and emergent eye problems. Patients are seen according to the level of severity.
