Colleen Schubach At the Moran Eye Center at Redstone our doctors provide pediatric through adult vision examinations, including contact lens fittings with the newest technology, superior eye glasses, and vision and sports therapy. Our exams are geared to determine your exact visual prescription and detect any vision problems or eye diseases you may encounter. For your convenience, please schedule appointments in advance, although if you are willing to wait for the first opening, we accept walk-in appointments. Colleen Schubach is a resident of Park City. She is a 1982 graduate of the Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, Oregon. She completed her internship at the State University of New York in 1981. Dr. Schubach has been in private practice in Utah for 25 years. She has worked with the Utah Jazz as Team Optometrist and provided optometry services to the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams. Dr. Schubach was an early advocate of vision therapy with a special emphasis in therapy targeted for children. Her personal interests include running, skiing, biking and riding horses. |

Contact Lens Services
At the Moran Eye Center at Redstone, we provide expert contact lens fittings and exams and offer the most current and comfortable contact lenses on the market. We have soft disposable lenses, soft disposable toric lenses (lenses that correct astigmatism), rigid gas permeable lenses, bifocal contacts and monovision lenses for our patients where both nearsightedness and farsightedness need correction.
If you are a new contact lens wearer, our staff of experienced doctors, technicians and opticians will teach you how to insert, remove and care for your contact lenses to make your transition to contacts easy and prevent any harm from occurring to your eyes.
We also offer prescription colored contact lenses and colored contacts for those who simply want to change their eye color. We are the regional experts in finding innovative solutions to our hard-to-fit patients. This includes patients who have very high prescriptions, dry eye, are continuous computer users, have chronic allergies, sensitive eyes and those who previously failed to adapt to contact lenses.

We are also the experts when it comes to lens construction with expertise in lens tinting for those with special sensitivities to light. We know from experience that eyewear is more than fashion. Vision Correction Alternatives
Our Redstone-based eye doctors conduct pre-operative and post-operative laser vision examinations. We are happy to talk with you about your vision correction options and suggest that you take advantage of the free educational forums in the evenings at Moran clinics several times each month. This will help you understand your options and helps determine if you are a candidate for LASIK surgery. Our forums last approximately one hour and are presented by one of our world-class ophthalmic surgeons.
Redstone ophthalmologist Dr. Geoffrey Tabin is a corneal and refractive surgery specialist and director of the International Ophthalmology Division of the Moran Eye Center. (He is an avid rock climber and has reached the summit of Mt. Everest.) Dr. Tabin performs the latest in LASIK surgery in the state-of-the-art operating room at the 210,000 square foot John A. Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City. The refractive ophthalmologists at the Moran Eye Center have some of the highest successful vision correction outcomes in the Western United States. The Moran Eye Center is a regional referral center for complications after LASIK, and for complex procedures where the patient has special needs. We are renowned for our caring approach to LASIK and other vision correction procedures and long-term follow up.
