Optometrists/Optometry Services
Clair R. Palmer, O.D.
Clair R. Palmer, O.D. received his B.S. degree from Brigham Young University, and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton California. His professional interests include general optometry with a special
interest in contact lenses. He belongs to both the Utah and American Optometric associations. During his 20 years as the optometrist for the Utah Air National Guard, Dr. Palmer has practiced optometry in
England, Korea, Japan, Germany, Virginia, Delaware, South Dakota, and California. He has been on humanitarian missions
to Minsk, Belarus and Morocco. In his spare time Dr. Palmer enjoys traveling, woodworking, reading, good jazz, and
spending time with his ever expanding family.
Robert Corry, O.D.
Robert Corry, O.D.
received his Bachelors of Science and Optometry Doctorate from the
Southern California College
of Optometry in Fullerton,
California. He also received
a Bachelors of Science from Brigham
Young University. Dr. Corry’s professional
interests include vision pathology, pediatric optometry
and contact lenses. Dr. Corry belongs to both the American
and Utah Chapters of the Optometric Association and
Boy Scouts of America. In his spare time, Dr. Corry enjoys
hiking, fishing, music and sports.

McKay O.D. (Se Habla Espan˜ ol.) and ophthalmologists, Majid Moshirfar, M.D., Albert
T. Vitale, M.D., Nick Mamalis, M.D., and Norman Zabriskie, M.D.
Contact Lens Services
At the South Jordan Moran Eye Center, we provide expert contact lens fittings and exams and offer the most current and comfortable contact lenses on the market. We have soft disposable lenses, soft disposable toric lenses (lenses that correct astigmatism), rigid gas permeable lenses, bifocal contacts and monovision lenses for our patients where both nearsightedness and farsightedness need correction.
If you are a new contact lens wearer, our staff of experienced doctors, technicians and opticians will teach you how to insert, remove and care for your contact lenses to make your transition to contacts easy and prevent any harm from occurring to your eyes.
We also offer prescription colored contact lenses and colored contacts for those who simply want to change their eye color. We are the regional experts in finding innovative solutions to our hard-to-fit patients. This includes patients who have very high prescriptions, dry eye, are continuous computer users, have chronic allergies, sensitive eyes and those who previously failed to adapt to contact lenses.

We are also the experts when it comes to lens construction with expertise in lens tinting for those with special sensitivities to light. We know from experience that eyewear is more than fashion. Your glasses must remain comfortable and stand up to daily wear, sometimes on the ski slope. We carry many frames that return to shape even after accidental bending.
