As you know, the knowledgebase of ophthalmic information and treatments is ever-changing and growing at an exponential rate. When unique patient eye-care situations arise, our 43 faculty members, specializing in all areas of Ophthalmology, want you know that we are here to offer assistance if needed. What to Expect

When you refer a patient to the John A. Moran Eye Center you can be assured that we will provide her or him with world-class service. We can be reached when you have questions about your patient's progress throughout their treatment. We consider every one of our referring physicians to be partners in patient care. We will care for your patients with the same thoroughness, compassion and professionalism as you offer them.

Referring a Patient

Our clinic representatives have passed training courses in medical terminology and have a combined 34 years at the Moran Eye Center. Not sure which doctor or clinic you need? They'll help your patient get an appointment with a doctor that is matched to their particular need. If you need to speak with a physician at Moran, they can facilitate that also. Our experienced schedulers use powerful, real-time computer programs to help you set up appointments with any of our doctors at any of our clinics.

  • Are able to schedule appointments with any of our physicians at all of our clinics or will direct your call to the appropriate clinic.
  • Will guide you to the best doctor for your needs
  • Are trained in medical terminology
  • Have received more than 250 hours of training and have an average of 7 years experiencing helping meet the needs of our Moran Eye Center patients
  • Are uniquely familiar with all aspects of the Moran Eye Center
  • Will answer your questions or will guide you to an expert(s) who can
