When unique patient eye-care situations arise, our faculty members, specializing in all areas of Ophthalmology, want you know that we are here to offer assistance if needed. We can be reached when you have questions about your patient's progress throughout their treatment. We consider our referring physicians to be partners in patient care and will treat your patients with the same thoroughness, compassion and professionalism as you offer them.

female phone operatorOur physician referral coordinator and team of scheduling specialists have training in a variety of areas. They are experienced at facilitating the scheduling needs of you and your patients. If you or your patient would like more information about particular specialists or clinics at the Moran Eye Center, they're trained to help you with that information. If you would like to speak with a physician at Moran, they can also facilitate that connection.

Our schedulers are technically skilled, and use powerful real-time computer programs to help you set up appointments with any of our doctors at any of our clinics.

When you call our scheduling and information telephone number at 801-581-2352, you can be confident that our outpatient clinic representatives:

  • Are able to schedule appointments with any of our physicians at all of our clinics or will direct your call to the appropriate clinic.
  • Will help channel you and your patients to the best doctor for your needs
  • Are trained in medical terminology
  • Have received more than 250 hours of training and have an average of seven years experience helping meet the needs of our Moran Eye Center patients
  • Are uniquely familiar with all aspects of the Moran Eye Center
  • Will answer your questions or will guide you to an expert(s) who can
  • Will give you directions to any of our clinics from any direction - including the Salt Lake airport
  • Will be friendly and responsive to your needs and are anxious to ensure that you and your patients enjoy an excellent experience at the Moran Eye Center
