- Comparing AMO 5.5 round versus SI30 intraocular lenses in a single masked randomized study.
- Evaluating the ocular safety and efficacy of ofloxacin solution in the treatment of acute bacterial corneal ulcers.
- Adjunctive therapy with a metallo-proteinase inhibitor in patients with corneal ulcers caused by infection or rheumatoid arthritis.
- Efficacy and safety of a quinoline verses tobramycin solution for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis in children.
- A comparative study of two high-refractive index, three-piece silicone intraocular lenses.
- An evaluation of a trabeculsuprachoroidal shunt for the control of intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients.
- A comparison of the efficacy and tolerability of Timolol and Levobunolol for the control of intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients.
- A study of carboxymethylcellulose-based artificial tear solutions for the relief of dry eye.

- Comparing the effects of "careful follow-up" vs. optic nerve sheath decompression surgery in the treatment of anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
- A study to identify behavioral and activity-related risk factors for the prevention of penetrating ocular injuries caused by airguns.
Members of the ophthalmic and research community are encouraged to contact the Moran Eye Center to participate in our research efforts. In addition, we can provide ophthalmic support where needed for other clinical studies.
