About Us
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Ambulatory Clinic and Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit provide clinical care to patients of University Hospitals and Clinics. Care is provided to meet the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of the patients and their families.
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program consists of:
- program coordination,
- inpatient care, and
- ambulatory care.
The purpose of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is to provide clinical coordination, counseling, support, and care to patients and their families requiring blood or marrow transplantation. Services provided span the following continuum of care:
- ambulatory/acute/critical care during pre-transplant,
- transplant,
- and post-transplant phases of both the marrow transplant recipient and donor ages 18 - 75.
