Osher Institute Offers Fall 2010 Course on Memory & Aging

Alzheimer's experts from CACIR will teach a course on Memory and Aging this fall at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Utah. This course will examine what constitutes normal memory, how memory works, the basic anatomy and function of the brain, and ways to protect and enhance memory. It will look at common problems that occur with memory, and discuss when to seek professional help, differences between depression and dementia, the importance of genetics, and more.

Memory and Aging begins on September 22 and continues through November 3, with class every Wednesday from 1:30-3:00pm. Membership in the Osher Institute is a pre-requisite for registration. Click here for class registration details.
