Our department is dedicated to assisting staff and facul
ty on government program issues.
The Medicare & Medicaid Services Office ensures proper reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS and other federal and state government programs. We are the liaison with the federal intermediaries involving reimbursement issues. We monitor changes in Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations. We also provide analysis to hospital senior management and are responsible for filing financial reports for Medicare, Medicaid and other federal programs.
