Tired of those pesky security patch and virus alerts?

We have a fix for you!   Under the direction of the newly formed Workstation and Applications Committee, the University Hospitals & Clinics is implementing a new PC workstation environment that will do away with the need for you to patch your own machine, and make workstations more secure.

First steps toward a more secure computer workstation environment include the installation and roll-out of a patch management agent. Over the next several days, beginning the week of September 27, ITS will remotely install a patch management agent on all Hospitals & Clinics PCs.

What do I need to do?

The best news is you don't have to do anything!  You will know when the agent is installed when you see 2 new icons in the lower-right corner of your monitor (system tray). They will look like this:
