The Miners Hospital has established collaborative relationships with health care providers within the University Health Care network for mining related health issues requiring specialty care.

When a miner's health care needs require consultation or treatment with a specialist, the miner will be referred to a specialist within the University Health Care network.

University Health Care has health care providers in most medical specialties including:

• audiology
• cardiology
• dermatology
• endocrinology
• gastroenterology
• hematology
• internal medicine
• neurology
• oncology
• physical medicine and rehabilitation
• ophthalmology
• urology
• orthopedics

Specialty medical clinics include the Pain Management Center, Rehabilitation Center, Sleep-Wake Center, and the Utah Diabetes Center.
