The following is a summary of the awards our Moran colleagues, and our residents and fellows, received at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting in San Diego, California in April.

1. Werner L, Mamalis N, Tetz MR. Forms of optic opacification leading to explantation of the MemoryLens designs. Special Interest: cataract poster.
2. Mueller M, Werner L, Langenbeck J, Tetz MR. New methodology to test differences in color perception in patients with blue-blocking IOLs compared with clear IOLs. Special Interest: cataract poster.
3. Tetz MR, Mueller M, Werner L. Making Verisyze and VeriFlex implantation easy. First prize in the category Refractive Surgery, Video Festival Award.
4. Mamalis N, Kamae K, Chang W, Johnson J, Werner L. Intraocular pressure changes during phacoemulsification and wound-assisted insertion of IOLs through varying wound sizes. Special Interest: cataract poster.
5. Chang W, Mamalis N, Werner L, Haugen B, Haymore J, Romaniv N. Evaluation of the irradiation safety of the Light-Adjustable Lens (LAL) in a rabbit model. Best-Paper-of-Session Award.
6. Kamae K, Werner L, Chang W, Johnson J, Mamalis N. Experimental implantation of a new small-incision lens in human cadaver eyes. Best-Paper-of-Session Award.
7. Mamalis N, Chang W, Johnson J, Kamae K, Werner L, Crandall A. Spontaneous dislocation of posterior chamber IOLs in the capsular bag. Best-Paper-of-Session Award.
8. Beth Snodgrass, C.R.A.: Known in France as "La photographe effervescente de dame," Beth was awarded 1st prize for her image called, "Pyogenic granulomatous fungal ulcer secondary to corneal infection."
9. Glen Jenkins, CRA: Honorable Mention for an image called "HEME", and 3rd place for an image called "Dilated Iris Vessels."
10. Rishi Kumar, M.D: best poster in the Pediatric Category, "Capsular Tension Rings and Aniridia Rings in Pediatric Cataract Surgery: Case Series".
