Ideally, the Medical Staff Office would like to receive an application for privileges 2 months prior to the doctor's start date.  If the faculty paperwork is not in one month ahead of the medical staff paperwork, the medical staff appointment is delayed an entire month in the process.  Upon receipt of the application, the following occurs:
