No technical or statistical support is available for these calculators.  Bug reports are welcomed at hcorneli@earthlink.net, but replies to emails are not provided.

Most of these calculators use approximations.  They may not be robust to extreme conditions.  They may not recognize inappropriate input (negative numbers, for example).  Under these and other conditions they may give incorrect results. The underlying software, Excel, uses algorithms and approximations that may at times have similar limitations. Inaccuracies may also arise due to the original statistical methods; see provided references for known limitations. Users are advised to make certain that all results appear reasonable and consistent.

Correct statistical inference depends on good judgment, valid data, correct data entry, proper study design, and insightful use of the appropriate tests and calculations.  Users of these calculators assume all responsibility for their use and interpretation.
