Errors
Some calculators will display warnings if certain entry errors occur. Not all entry errors generate warnings.
- If you get error messages from Excel (such as #VALUE!! or NUM!! or Ref!!) you have likely entered values that don't make sense in these formulas.
- Make sure you have entered only numbers ("$20" will cause an error).
- Make sure you've entered values in the right format (20% is entered as "0.20", not "20", in most cases).
- Double check that values are entered in the right order.
- Check that you've changed all the values in the yellow cells, and hit the Enter key after editing the last cell.
