Chris Beckwith, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Beckwith completed a General Hospital Residency in 1992 and a Drug Information Specialty Residency at the University Hospital in 1993. She is a full-time DIS staff member. Hematology-oncology is her specialty area. Dr. Beckwith is the lead editor of the Cancer Chemotherapy Manual.
In her spare time, Chris runs Camp Hobe', a nonprofit summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings. She is currently the Executive Camp Director and oversees all Camp Hobe' programs. She is married and has 2 toy poodles. Her absolute favorite TV show is Farscape and favorite movie is The Princess Bride. |
Jane Chandramouli, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Chandramouli completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1995. She has worked as a clinical pharmacist for the past 10 years in drug information and ambulatory care specialty clinics. She currently serves the DIS part-time.
Dr. Chandramouli enjoys raising her three children and spending time with her husband. Spare time is for building a home, trying new restaurants, and skiing. |
Celeste Conlin Executive Secretary
Celeste is the center's administrative assistant. She is the master of keys, supplies, technical support, drug cost reports, etc.
Celeste takes pride in documenting her life through scrapbooking and enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons and husband. |
Andrew Deryke, PharmD Pharmacy Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. DeRyke completed a pharmacy practice residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital in 2004 and an Infectious Disease Pharmacotherapy fellowship at the Center for Anti-Infective Research & Development at Hartford Hospital in 2006. He is a full-time employee of both the pharmacy department and Pharmacoepidemiology department at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics.
Andrew enjoys watching and participating in all types of sports, especially golf, football, and baseball. He is passionate about the University of Michigan football, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoys traveling and has been to 40 of the 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, China, Hong Kong, & Thailand. |
Cliff Feddema Computer Professional
Mr. Feddema is the DIS's project manager and administrative technician. He maintains order and sanity in the Center. He serves as the Department of Pharmacy Services' Webmaster. He has associate's degrees in business administration and business pre-law.
Here is a guy who makes his own wine, loves building stuff in the garage, is good to his wife and, to a lesser extent, the dog, but doesn't have a "man cave". Oh, and he isn't going to buy any extended warranty.

Erin Fox, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Fox completed a Drug Information Specialty Residency after graduating from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 1999. She is a full-time DIS staff member. Her areas of interest include drug information, drug shortage management, evidence based medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Fox is the manager of our Drug Shortages information project.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys cooking, wine tasting, roller-blading, hiking, and canoeing. She met her husband at a local brew-pub and still likes touring new pubs and visiting old favorites. Her favorite beer is a nice dark lager. |
Leslie Jensen, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Leslie completed a Pharmacy Practice residency here at the University Hospital in 2007 after completing her Pharm.D. at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. She works half-time at the DIS and half time at the University Hospital on the surgery floor (6th floor).
In her spare time, Leslie enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Guilty pleasures include chocolate and shopping. |
Ginny Jones, RPh Drug Information Specialist
Ginny graduated from the University of Utah pharmacy program in 1989. She has worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University Hospital since 1990.
Ginny enjoys oil painting, designing and constructing costumes, scuba diving, and reading murder mysteries. She especially loves spending time with her grandchildren. |
Dave Peterson, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Peterson completed a Drug Information Residency at the University of Utah Hospital in 2002. He is a full-time DIS staff member.
Dave (aka "Blind Dog") is the Center's blues guitarist. If he ever doesn't show up for work, you can bet he hit the road looking for the crossroads. Dave's other distractions include a bit of geocaching, R/C car racing, hiking, fishing, and watching the Detriot Red Wings dominate on the ice. Linda Tyler, PharmD Director, Drug Information Service
Dr. Tyler is the Director of the Drug Information Service. She has watched the center grow from when she was the only staff member in 1986 to the diverse, nationally recognized service that it is today with 10 full-time staff members. She serves as the program director for the Specialty Residency Program in Drug Information.
Linda enjoys refereeing soccer, and watching college gymnastics and basketball. A bouquet of fresh sunflowers always brightens her day. |
John Vu, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Vu graduated from the University of Kansas in 2004. He completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and a dual-track Drug Information Specialty Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals. He is a full-time DIS staff member.
John enjoys listening to music, playing video games and watching and playing sports. His favorite sport teams are the Kansas Jayhawks and the Kansas City Chiefs. John also enjoys the sweeter things in life - he is a connoisseur of fine desserts and candies. |
Michelle Wheeler, PharmD Drug Information Specialist
Dr. Wheeler completed her training at UC San Francisco at the School of Pharmacy including a Pharmacy Practice Residency in 1994 and a Specialty Residency in 1995.
She came to work here at the University Hospital in 1995 in a combined position with the Drug Information Center and the Inpatient Pharmacy. She then took on a position as an Inpatient Anticoagulation Pharmacist in 2002 but has recently returned to a full time position at the Drug Information Center.
Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. This includes watching SpongeBob marathons with her nephews, wine tasting dinners with her friends, and traveling around the globe with anyone willing. |
