Safety Certificate Program

The Rocky Mountain Center administers a safety certificate program. The courses are offered through University of Utah evening classes. The program requires the participant to complete a nubmer of courses covering a spectrum of interdisciplinary topics in Occupational and Environmental Health. In addition to certificates of completion for each course, the participant will receive a certificate of completion for the program.

Industrial Hygiene Certificate Program

The Rocky Mountain Center administers a Industrial Hygiene certificate program. The courses are offered through University of Utah classes. OSHA Trainer Certificate Programs

The courses are offered through University of Utah classes and specifically target OSHA related issues. The Safety & Health Construction Specialist Certificate is targeted to the construction industry, while the General Industry Specialist Certificate is targeted to general industry. In addition to certificates of completion for each course, the participant will receive a certificate of completion for the program.

The following classes as noted in the Continuing Education Listings meet the OSHA Trainer Certificate Program Requirements:

For Safety & Health Construction Specialist Certificate

• OSHA 510: OSHA Standards for The Construction Industry
• OSHA 500: Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry
• Three Elective Courses (see list below)

For Safety & Health General Industry Specialist Certificate

• OSHA 511: OSHA Standards for General Industry
• OSHA 501: Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General Industry
• Three Elective Courses (see list below)
