OSHA #7205: Health Hazard Awareness

The goal of the Health Hazards Awareness course is to assist participants with recognizing potential health hazards in the workplace, and avoiding, minimizing, controlling or eliminating them whenever possible. The target audience is the small employer, business owner, or manager who would like to obtain information about health hazards found in the workplace. The training is also suitable for employees and employee representatives. Exposure to health hazards continues to be common in spite of advances in control measures and techniques. OSHA's current strategic plan has made a reduction in some specific health hazards such as lead, silica, and ergonomic related a high priority. This course will provide information on the types of health hazards and discuss ways to recognize, evaluate, and control them in the workplace.

Required Prerequisite : None.
