Industrial Hygiene Consultation
Consulting Services | Industrial Hygeine Faculty | Industrial Hygeine Students
The Industrial Hygiene Program at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health is a comprehensive program to educated graduate students in how to recognize, evaluate and control those factors or stresses in the work environment or surrounding communities that may cause adverse effects to human health.
The resources for accomplishing these educational programs include three industrial hygiene faculty, all having Ph.D. degrees. Dr. Larson, the program director, is also a CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist, certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene). In addition, there are typically ten (10) graduate students in the program at any point in time.
With these resources, industrial hygiene consulting is available from this program to both assist organizations in need of such resources, as well as to provide a learning opportunity for the graduate students in the program. This may occasionally result in identification of a research project that is both beneficial to the organization receiving our service as well as for the University of Utah, RMCOEH.
