General Information
Annual Regional National Occupational Research
Agenda (NORA) Young/New Investigators Symposium
April 17-18, 2008
University of Utah
Salt Lake City, Utah
The goal of this conference is to assemble interested students (undergraduate and graduate) and young/new investigators from the region (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming) and other interested parties in a forum where NORA-related research can be presented and discussed. Research submissions will be reviewed by senior regional faculty and a peer-reviewed proceeding will be published and made available at a later date to symposium attendees.
The symposium has been held for five years (2003-2007) and all have been highly successful. This is a great opportunity for young/new investigators and students at all stages of their academic careers to meet and exchange ideas in an open and friendly atmosphere. There is a minimal registration fee of $50 for all symposium attendees. Students and presenters are eligible for up to $500 reimbursement for all expenses associated with symposium attendance.
Please contact Roanna Keough at keough@mech.utah.edu for further information regarding the symposium. A brochure can be downloaded by clicking here.
