Research Overview

Research Projects

The Rocky Mountain Center participates in many publically funded research projects. NIOSH (the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) has funded our study on Low Back Pain and is currently funding an Upper Extremities study that looks at neck, shoulder, arm, wrist and hand pain in a workplace environment.

A study of occupational risks to Utah firefighters and drug enforecement polic officers has recently been funded by the State of Utah. Click here for the pdf of the Press Release.

We have also recently been granted the funding for a study on long and short haul truckers.
