How is a sleep disorder evaluated?

Because it is important to gather all related information about your sleep habits, the first step in evaluation is an individualized clinic visit with a sleep disorders specialist.

Based on this clinic visit, diagnostic tests are often needed that may include:

• all night sleep recording (polysomnography) in the Sleep Center,
• daytime nap recordings (Multiple Sleep Latency Test),
• overnight home oxygen recordings.
