About Us
We are a 14-station patient recovery unit staffed by RN's, LPN's and medical assistants. We have an on-site nurse educator to assist with patient and staff education needs. Our unit is open from Monday through Saturday morning at 0700. We are closed on weekends and holidays.
Scope of Practice
Our scope of practice is recovery of the post-anesthesia patient through stage 3 of recovery to discharge.
We provide patient education in discharge teaching and provide telephonic post-operative assessment within 24-48 hours following the surgical procedure.
