PLANNED FOR

Rehabilitation personnel from state agencies, hospital and health care facilities, rehabilitation facilities,
educational institutions, mental health agencies and facilities, insurance companies and private industry.

OBJECTIVES

1. Through lecture, demonstration and group interaction, discuss and illustrate techniques used in
assessment, planning, treatment and rehabilitation counseling with the substance abuser.
2. Review and discuss the implications of substance abuse regarding employment, including
intervention methodologies, job placement and relapse prevention.
