Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
The Ob-Gyn Clinic #4 is located on the first floor of the University of Utah Hospital.  As you enter the hospital, follow the outpatient clinic signs.

Should I arrive early for my appointment?
Parking at the University of Utah hospital can sometimes be a challenge.   Please use Valet Parking if you are running late or are unable to find parking.   Arriving fifteen minutes early when you are a new patient helps to facilitate paper work.

What is a "Resident" physician? What is an "Attending" physician?
Residents at University Hospital are physicians in a four-year training program to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology after graduating from medical school.   They are supervised by attending physicians who are Ob-Gyn faculty in the School of Medicine.

Will you accept my insurance?
Please be sure that the University of Utah Hospital is a provider enlisted with your insurance company.   Otherwise, you will be responsible for your bill.

Can I be seen in your clinic today?
Our clinic is not able to offer "insta-care."   It is necessary for you to have an appointment to be seen in the clinic.
