Providing support and information to families experiencing a high risk or threatened pregnancy, or who have a critially ill newborn in the Newborn ICU.
What we do:
One-on-One Support
At your request, we will put you in touch with a parent who has been through a similar experience. We can arrange for you to meet in person or to talk on the telephone, or via e-mail. Volunteers also regularly drop in to visit in the NICU.
Group Support
- Weekly parent nights, guest speakers, and discussion topics to help families deal with their hospital experience. (6:30pm Wednesdays)
- Annual reunions and events including an Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Party.
- Weekly lunches for moms hospitalized with high risk bedrest pregnancies.
- Weekly parent break NBICU parents can visit with one another in the parent lounge during shift change. (2:45pm Wednesdays)

- Parent library, informatative books about premature babies and high risk pregnancy
