Providing support and information to families experiencing a high risk or threatened pregnancy, or who have a critially ill newborn in the Unidad del cuidado intensivo UCI del neonato.

What we do:
One-on-One Support

    At your request, we will put you in touch with a parent who has been through a similar experience.  We can arrange for you to meet in person or to talk on the telephone, or via e-mail.  Volunteers also regularly drop in to visit in the NICU.
Group Support
  • Weekly parent nights, guest speakers, and discussion topics to help families deal with their hospital experience. (6:30pm Wednesdays)
  • Annual reunions and events including an Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Party.
  • Weekly lunches for moms hospitalized with high risk bedrest pregnancies.
  • Weekly parent break NBICU parents can visit with one another in the parent lounge during shift change. (2:45pm Wednesdays)
Information Networking
  • Referrals to other agencies and organizations
  • Parent library, informatative books about premature babies and high risk pregnancy
  • Quarterly Newsletters
  • Monthly membership meetings
