Special Care is a 23-bed unit featuring 7 new private rooms.  Care is provided to all ages except the neonate.

Care needs and services of patients are dependent on the patient's diagnosis.  Services may include:

• Interventions from interdisciplinary team members or support services
• Nursing services, such as:
  • assessment
  • nursing diagnosis
  • care planning
  • nursing interventions
  • evaluation
